Passing of UA Member Grant Wright

June 21, 2019

Grant David Walter Wright

May 11, 1962 - June 13, 2019

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the sudden death of Grant David Walter Wright, on Thursday June 13, 2019. Such a great loss to family and friends. He was a supportive Son, Husband, Father and Grandfather, and we will all miss him dearly. Grant was predeceased by his father Bud (Ervin) Wright. Left to mourn is his mother Shirley Wright, his wife Patty, sons Billy and Lyndon Wright, daughter Crystal Wright, brother Jason Wright, grandsons Jackson Wright, Ezra Wright and Ryder Perreault, Special Aunt and Uncle Donna and Darwin Chalupiak, Terry and Jackie Chalupiak, Kenny and Susan Chalupiak and numerous Cousins and other family members. I want to express a special thanks of love and support to my sister Heather and Barry Gaber, Traci Schmekel, Grant's special and dear friends, Donny Nordal, Brandon Faul, and so many more.
Grant was a REAL straight shooter, hard working, no nonsense man, so very proud to be with the Local 179. He cared so much for his UA Brother's and Sister's . Some of Grant's favorite things in life started with the letter "P" and I would like to think in this order, Patty, Perogies, Pilsner, Pipefitting, Pickerel and Perch.
A huge thank you to the staff at the Regina General Hospital ICU Surgical Unit for the care and kindness shown to my husband and his family.
A celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 28, 2019, at the Turvey Centre, Main Floor Ballroom, at 100 Armour Road from 7:00pm to 11:00 pm.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
