Passing of UA Life Member Frank Phillips

On Wednesday, July 29, 2020 Franklin Ross Phillips of Semans, Saskatchewan passed away in the Regina General Hospital. He was 75 years of age. Frank was born on February 28, 1945 in Vernon, BC to Leslie and Edna Phillips. He received his education in Semans and began his career of Plumbing and Pipefitting at an early age. His career took him to Aneroid, Sk where he met and married Sharon Corbin. They had two children, Sherry and Terry. He was predeceased by his parents Leslie and Edna Phillips, Father-in- Law and Mother-in-Law Stan and Margaret Corbin and brother Jim Phillips and son-in-law Brad Missura. Left to mourn his passing is his wife of over 52 years Sharon, daughter Sherry, grandchildren Colton (Taylor and great-grandson Jack), Paige, Regan and Baylee. Son Terry (Shari), grandchildren Madison and Austen. Sister Trish Latoski (Bernie) and Sharon's siblings Carol, Doreen (Jack), Bev, Dennis (Diane) plus many nieces and nephews. Frank (Frankie) proudly belonged to UA Local 179 Steamfitter/Pipefitters for over 55 years. He will always be remembered by his humor, wit and love of family and kids. Frank always loved fishing, hockey and was a huge Habs fan, he played with Semans Wheatkings and their team was inducted into the Saskatchewan Hockey Hall of Fame. Frank loved to watch all his grandkids at their sports games, school concerts and any event they were in. He will be dearly missed by his grandkids. Frank always had a soft spot for kids and Danika and Courtney Phillips brought him so much joy. He loved their visits, teasing them and taking them on tractor rides. He will be missed by all that knew him. Due to Covid a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Thank you to Hanson Funeral Home in Strasbourg. Go HABS Go
