Passing of UA Local 179 Member Tulio Brezac

TULIO BREZAC

June 2, 1935 - March 19, 2013

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Tulio Brezac announce his sudden passing at St. Paul's Hospital on March 19, 2013 at the age of 77. Born to Nikola and Ana Brezac on June 2, 1935 in Vinez Istra, Croatia. Tulio and his wife Maria moved to Canada (Saskatoon) in July, 1962. He spoke three languages and his interests included gardening, fishing, hunting and playing his trumpet. He worked as a welder in numerous construction projects for United Association of Journeymen Fitters &Welders, Local 179.

He was dearly loved and will be remembered by: his loving wife Maria Brezac (nee Tireli), his two sons Andy and Leonard (Robbin Kowalski), as well as his two grandchildren Ava and Christian, and his three sisters, Malvina Melitta (London), Erika & Antonio Tamai (Rimini, Italy) and Anna Sedmak (Germany). He is survived by brothers-in-law Aldo (Anna) Tireli and Etore Frontel and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by: his father (1955), his mother (1993), his two brothers Sandro (1998) and Renato (2009), his two brother- in-laws Stijepan Sedmak (1997), Peter Mellita (2009) and sister-in-law Milka Frontel (2008).

A Celebration of Tulio's life was held at Park Funeral Chapel, 311 Third Avenue North, Saskatoon on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. with Rev. Fr. Stephen Morrisey, CSsR officiating.
